IP MAN!!!

Friday 30th of January          Today, I saw the action packed martial arts movie Ip man for the second time.  In the movie, Ip man is portrayed as an accomplished Wing Chun martial artist, and one of the best as all the other masters respect him. However, in 1937 the Japanese invasion in China takes place and affects everybody in China, even Ip man. His house and belongings are confiscated and he has to live in a feeble house. The Japanese set up a arena where the Chinese and Japanese can spar together and the winner will get a free sack of rice. Ip man decides to spar with them after his friend dies in one of the spars and then, the Japanese realize his true talent.             Ip man has easily become one of my favourite movies this year because the martial art skills he displays in the movie are just too fascinating, spectacular and breathtaking. A good example of his skills showed in the movie is when he is fighting against ten Japanese black belts. The picture of taking on ten black belts is scary enough but not for Ip man as he defeats them with ease. Throughout the movie it is proved that nobody can stand a chance against him, even if it’s the Japanese General or the henchmen of Jin Shan Zhao, a northerner.            After the movie was released sometime in December the rate of people learning his Wing Chun martial art increased by a lot. I can’t wait for the DVD to be released as I can see myself replaying his but-whopping fights again and again.
